Match up people tags from Photo Gallery with Facebook friends

When uploading images that contain people tags, if the people tags match up with a Facebook account then the tag should be linked to that account.
This may require an additional user interface that would make it easy to match people tags to their friends on Facebook.

I didn't realize that uploading now with Live People Tags didn't match up to Facebook.

My suggestion is that if possible you match on First and Last name (and ignore Middle Name for now since Middle Name is not included in the Live People Tag even if the person has one entered).

The application OutSync (to sync facebook contacts with Outlook contacts) does a pretty good job of this name matching but I'm not sure what sort of an algorithm the author uses.

I suggest that you have the Windows Live Contacts/Facebook Contacts mapper to be a separate application which exposes an API that your plugin can talk to in order to query who is who.
Mapping the contacts seems to be of importance and I guess several other applications can make use of such mapping

It looks like there is code in there that tries to do that but it just does not seem correct. There is a method that looks through all of the people tags and attempts to match them to friends but it does not try to match each person tag against each friend tag so I am not sure how it would ever work.
